Patrick Tatopoulos is a production designer and director who lives and works in the United States. His designs have appeared in many well-known movie, including Underworld, Independence Day, I, Robot, The Chronicles of Riddick, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Stargate, Godzilla, Stuart Little, 300, I Am Legend, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, Live Free or Die Hard and others.
Tatopoulos was born and raised in Paris, France, to a French mother and an immigrant father from Mani, Greece. His parents had a clothing store in Paris.
In the past Tatopoulos used to race motorcycles, work in 2D advertising and also draw comic book covers. Tatopoulos has also spent time in Greece. He lived in Greece for ten years before eventually moving to the United States in 1989. He is tri-lingual, a fluent speaker of English, French, and Greek. Tatopoulos is currently based in Los Angeles.
